Tasting notes


Colour: sparkling wine with a pale straw-yellow colour featuring green-hued
Bouquet: delicate aromas floral, green apple and citrus scents
Palate: harmonic, savory and persistent
Food pairing: a sparkling wine for the entire meal. Ideal as an aperitif wine, but fine as well with fish, shellfish, and mussels, and with light first courses.
Glass: best enjoyed in a large tulip-shaped glass with curved-in rim.
Service temperature: 8 – 10 °C open bottle at moment of serving
Storage: best enjoyed young, preferably within 12 – 18 Months. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place, away from light. Do not keep long in refrigerator.

Glera is a rather neutral grape variety which is mainly cultivated for use in sparkling Italian wine styles, frizzante or spumante, from the various Prosecco DOCG and DOC areas, although still wines also exist. It is grown mainly in the Veneto region of Italy, traditionally in an area near Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the hills north of Treviso.
